“The Sunday series is where it all started. The soft shapes that the textiles give when they curl, fold and slide across a canvas are, for me, the biggest source of inspiration.
Textiles can give so many impressions. An example could be snuggling up in a freshly washed duvet, which for me is one of the best sensory experiences in everyday life.
And can that feeling get onto a canvas? That's how the "sunday" series started, and at the same time Artful Layers."
