Customer service
All orders and inquiries are handled by Sarah Kvejborg. I endeavor to answer all inquiries as quickly as possible, and you are always welcome to contact me by email, phone or Instagram if you have any questions or wish to order a piece.
Delivery & Shipping
Delivery takes place within 1-2 weeks, and by agreement. Depending on the size of the work, it can be sent by GLS, or if it is a larger piece, delivered personally for a fee. All pieces can also be collected free of charge in Aarhus by agreement. Any inquiries in connection with delays when sending with GLS must be addressed directly to them. We reserve the right for printing errors, price changes and stock management errors. The price for shipping smaller pieces of art with GLS within Denmark is DKK 89, and is sent as a package. The price for delivery outside of Denmark and for larger pieces of art are set according to distance and agreement, and you are always welcome to contact me about this.
Personal orders
It is possible to order pieces as desired from Artful Layers. However, I cannot guarantee delivery within 1-2 weeks, as with already finished pieces. It typically takes 7-12 days to complete a piece, depending on size and style, as all pieces have a long drying time and require many layers. Furthermore, many personal orders are placed, and there may be a waiting list. You are always welcome to contact me to hear more. If you want a specific color or style, it is usually possible to comply. I look forward to hearing from you!
Opening hours
The webshop is available for orders all hours of the day. Sales can aslo be made through direct inquiry on either e-mail, telephone or via Instagram, and are made on a first-come, first-served basis. If you want to order a piece in a specific color or style, don't hesitate to contact me either. I will regularly participate in exhibitions where it is also possible to buy the pieces - so keep an eye on my Instagram profile for updates on this. If you are in doubt about a piece, you are also very welcome to contact me about booking a personal showing by appointment in Aarhus.
Prices
All prices are in Danish kroner or Euros and include artist VAT. We reserve the right to print errors in the prices shown and price changes.
Payment
Payment can currently be made via bank transfer, Visa/Mastercard, MobilePay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or cash. The money will be withdrawn when the order is dispatched or picked up.
Right of return
As a starting point, it is not possible to return personal orders for pieces that are developed according to your wishes. If you buy a product or an already existing piece via the website, however, it applies that you have a 14-day right of return after you have received your order. In these cases, the pieces must be returned in unchanged condition.
Treatment of art pieces
It is generally not a good idea to hang art in direct sunlight, as the colors can change significantly over time. Always make sure you have clean hands when touching the work and never use a wet cloth to wipe the work to remove dust. It's perfectly okay to use a dry duster or broom with caution.
Privacy policy
What personal data is collected and for what purposes?
When you make a purchase via the website, information is collected about you, e.g. name, address, e-mail address and telephone number, which means that your order can be sent to you and which can be used in the event of a return. If you contact us via the contact form, email, chat function on Instagram or otherwise, you will of course receive a reply, but here your information is not used for anything else.
Use of data processors
Information provided via the webshop is not sold on to third parties, and no personally sensitive information is recorded. No information will be passed on to external companies, except when it is necessary to comply with the agreement entered into - for example, your contact details will be passed on to the shipping company so that they can deliver your order. The freight company is a data processor (other examples are a financial system supplier) which, according to concrete and purpose-limited instructions, processes the data for which I am the data controller. The data processors may not use the data for purposes other than fulfilling the agreement with Artful Layers, and they are subject to confidentiality. Some data processors are outside the EU. Third-country transfers are secured through certifications such as the EU-US Privacy Shield agreement, which ensures orderly conditions when personal data is transferred from the EU to the US.
Your rights
You have the right at all times to:
- Find out which personal data I have registered about you
- Get incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant personal data corrected
- Request to delete all personal data I have registered about you
- Request that the processing of personal data be limited to specific purposes
- Have your data transferred to a third party
- Object to an otherwise lawful processing of your personal data
- Complaint to the national data supervisory authority.
Deletion of personal data
Personal information is registered with Artful Layers and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted.
Security
All requests for confidentiality of personal data that you give on our webshop will of course be respected. In addition, attention is paid to the need for appropriate protection and proper processing of your personal data. Here, personal data is registered and processed in accordance with the relevant regulations in force at all times.
Right of complaint
A 2-year right of complaint is granted in accordance with the Purchase Act on already existing works. This does not apply to personal orders. The right to complain covers manufacturing and material defects that are detected upon receipt of the goods.
The right of complaint does not cover normal wear and tear, faults and damage caused by incorrect handling or poor maintenance.
Please also note that the products from Artful Layers are handmade. Shape and color may therefore vary slightly from the pictures without this being an error.
Upon receipt and before the goods are put into use, you must review the delivered goods to ensure that they are free of defects and of the desired caliber. Complaints about defects, including quantity deviations that should otherwise have been detected during such a review, must be made immediately and no later than 7 days from delivery. If you fail to examine the goods, you cannot later claim defects that should have been discovered during such an examination.
If your complaint is justified, you can have the item repaired, exchanged, the money returned or the price reduced, depending on the specific situation.
It is your duty to indicate and, on request, show how the error or deficiency manifests itself. It is a prerequisite that you can present the purchase receipt for the product you want to advertise.

Please note that I do not receive parcels sent by cash on delivery. Please note that you are liable for the item until I have received it - I am not liable if, for example, your package is left on the door and it is taken by an unauthorized person.
